Raphael House Volunteer Schedule (ICE CREAM SOCIAL)


Volunteers to help with Ice cream socials at St. Raphael's--usually scheduled for the first Sunday afternoon of each month. Ice cream is provided by the assisted living center, our volunteers bring the toppings. Plan to arrive in the afternoon at about 2:00 PM to begin setting up. Would you like to volunteer on one of the open dates for this project? Please contact Maureen and George so we can add you to the schedule.

Assisting the with the County's Car Safety Seat Checks


Volunteers are needed to assist with the county's car safety seat checks. Currently, checks are scheduled for the second Saturday morning of each month (8:00 to noon) at Great Beginnings in Gaithersburg, the third Saturday afternoon of each month (1:00 to 4:00) at Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, and Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 at Criswell Chevrolet. Kiwanis volunteers assist with directing traffic, checking-in those who have appointments, and handing out and explaining the forms. Both locations for the car seat checks are under cover. If you would like to help out with this project, please contact Jon May and let him know when you are available.
